Should I call him first

Every girl in this part of the world have probably asked this question at one point in time, "should i call him back. " You meet a guy for the first time, you both click, you exchange numbers, and as a naija babe you are expecting him to call you back but he doesn't. First you thought maybe he forgot, but then it's been a week now and you are asking yourself if you should call him first.

In Nigeria, when a girl finds herself in this kind of situation you hear stuff like, you are going to  appear cheap and desperate, he is not going to respect you, a guy is suppose to be the one calling, and so many other trash. The truth is that many things could have prevented him from calling you back, it could be that he forgot, it be that he misplaced your number, it could also be that he is not that into you. Whatever the case may be, one thing I know for sure is that a guy  would not take is time to approach a lady, collect her number and not be interested in something.

So girlfriend, be a big girl, pick up that phone and call him back. Who cares if you are the first to call, a guy who would stay would do so regardless of who calls back first.

THE RATE OF NUDITY IN AFRICAN MOVIES

The rate at which nudity has become rampant in our movies is becoming alarming. Back then growing up as a kid I comfortably watch a movie with my parents and gain positively from it, but our present generation has gone out of hand. The kind of movies that you see ever day on tv and in the market is nothing to write home about, one can't even differentiate a blue fillm from an ordinary one. I feel so sorry for our movie industries, cause we have lost our ways, we have gone from sharing our culture to the rest of the world to selling sex in movies. It is so bad that I have to preview a movie first before sharing it with my family members.

4 things that only girls with guy best friend would understand

Having a guy best friend can be fun and very interesting. Like every relationship it has good days and bad days, but one thing that is certain is that your guy best friend will always have your back. 1: They are good listeners Even though they don't understand the reason for your rant, why you hate your body, or you crying over a guy who just dumped you, they still take out time to listen to you rant. 2: Your secretes are safe Every girl will agree with me that we females are not good at keeping secretes, especially the secretes of our fellow sisters. Even though as humans we all have the tendency to spread secretes and gossip like fire can spread in a forest, you've got agree with me that guys are way better at keeping secretes, especially that of their female best friends. 3: Everyone thinks you are dating or like each other This might be true for some people, but sometimes a guy and a girl just wants to be friends. When you are out together in public people would...

Nollywood or igbohood

For sometime now I have noticed that the movies that are being produced in nollywood especially the locally made OceaNA "aba made" are always centered on the igbo culture. Sometimes I find it difficult to differentiate an igbo movie from an ordinary Nigerian movie. The choice of language, the dressing,  and even the display of culture seems to be only around one side of the country, I mean there are so many ethnic groups in the country why center the industry around just one. Even tractors are not left out as most of the actors in nollywood are igbo speeking, and it's almost impossible for a different to be seen there. I think it's high time something is done about this.
