Handling lack of admission in Nigeria

Every year millions of youth in Nigeria write jamb, hoping to get admitted to the University to further their studies, and every year thousands of youth get their hope crushed. No admission another year of staying at home. Your mates have all gone to school, your getting old,you feel frustrated and don't know what to do.

After finishing my secondary school, I had to wait five years before getting into the University, and I must tell you it wasn't an easy wait. You start to wonder if ever you are going to get into the University.  There are certain things that  you can do to keep yourself busy and  your mind occupied while waiting.

1: get a hobby
While you wait for jamb, learn to do something, it would keep your mind from thinking and add to your knowledge.

2: read books
Even though you have not gotten admission yet you still need to keep reading, the longer you stay at home the easier it is for you to forget school things, but when you keep reading regardless of anything, you not get to lose already stored knowledge.

3: learn a skill
Not everyone is meant to go to school, something get their breakthrough from a handwork, so while you wait make yourself useful.

4: pray to your God
At this period you are going to need all the prayers that you can get, so get closer to your God.

Nollywood or igbohood

For sometime now I have noticed that the movies that are being produced in nollywood especially the locally made OceaNA "aba made" are always centered on the igbo culture. Sometimes I find it difficult to differentiate an igbo movie from an ordinary Nigerian movie. The choice of language, the dressing,  and even the display of culture seems to be only around one side of the country, I mean there are so many ethnic groups in the country why center the industry around just one. Even tractors are not left out as most of the actors in nollywood are igbo speeking, and it's almost impossible for a different to be seen there. I think it's high time something is done about this.

THE RATE OF NUDITY IN AFRICAN MOVIES

The rate at which nudity has become rampant in our movies is becoming alarming. Back then growing up as a kid I comfortably watch a movie with my parents and gain positively from it, but our present generation has gone out of hand. The kind of movies that you see ever day on tv and in the market is nothing to write home about, one can't even differentiate a blue fillm from an ordinary one. I feel so sorry for our movie industries, cause we have lost our ways, we have gone from sharing our culture to the rest of the world to selling sex in movies. It is so bad that I have to preview a movie first before sharing it with my family members.

Five reasons why women are jealous of themselves

1: Beauty Women feel threatened when they see another women who they feel is prettier than they are. Women are never satisfied with the way they look, they always want to look better than the girl next to us. We get jealous when we see a beautiful lady. 2: Intelligence Intelligent people always draw attention to themselves even without asking for it. Women get jealous of other women intelligence because of the attention it brings to them. 3: Confidence There is just something sexy about a confident lady, the attention she commands is enough to make her fellow women jealous of her. 4: Dress sense Looking good is a serious business for we ladies. A women would go out of her wey just to look better than the woman next to her, the cloths are never enough for her. 5: Body weight Women are never satisfied with the way their body looks. This is the major cause of jealousy among women. A woman can go as far as starving just to have the figure of another lady.
