For sometime now I have noticed that the movies that are being produced in nollywood especially the locally made OceaNA "aba made" are always centered on the igbo culture. Sometimes I find it difficult to differentiate an igbo movie from an ordinary Nigerian movie. The choice of language, the dressing, and even the display of culture seems to be only around one side of the country, I mean there are so many ethnic groups in the country why center the industry around just one. Even tractors are not left out as most of the actors in nollywood are igbo speeking, and it's almost impossible for a different to be seen there. I think it's high time something is done about this.
Every girl in this part of the world have probably asked this question at one point in time, "should i call him back. " You meet a guy for the first time, you both click, you exchange numbers, and as a naija babe you are expecting him to call you back but he doesn't. First you thought maybe he forgot, but then it's been a week now and you are asking yourself if you should call him first. In Nigeria, when a girl finds herself in this kind of situation you hear stuff like, you are going to appear cheap and desperate, he is not going to respect you, a guy is suppose to be the one calling, and so many other trash. The truth is that many things could have prevented him from calling you back, it could be that he forgot, it be that he misplaced your number, it could also be that he is not that into you.
